Payhip / Monthly plans

Find your Payhip
upgrade point.

A lower percentage fee only helps once it saves more than the subscription costs. Compare all three plans below.

Payment processing

The two useful thresholds

FREE → PLUS

About $967 / month

Divide the $29 subscription by the 3 percentage points saved per sale. Below this revenue, Free has the lower modeled Payhip charge.

PLUS → PRO

$3,500 / month

The extra $70 monthly subscription replaces a 2% fee. At exactly $3,500, the two plans have the same modeled Payhip cost.

PRICE TO SALES COUNT

Your price changes the target.

At $29 per product, the first threshold is crossed at 34 paid sales. The second is crossed at 121 sales.

These are our calculations from the published plan fees, not revenue targets or promises of sales. They assume the same processing rate on every plan and exclude refunds, taxes and add-ons.

Use a quieter month as a second check

If a launch briefly pushes revenue above the upgrade threshold, calculate the following month as well. A subscription still costs money when sales stop. Compare the expected saving with the work needed to change plans, and check your billing date before switching.

Why not compare Free directly with Pro?

That pair crosses at $1,980 in monthly sales. But at that revenue, Plus still has a lower platform charge than either of them. A pairwise break-even point does not identify the cheapest option when a third plan exists.

Try the general break-even calculator with your own plan quotes.
