How much does Etsy charge per sale?
For this US digital-download model, a sale has three base charges: a $0.20 listing event, a 6.5% transaction fee, and US payment processing of 3% + $0.25. A $12 download therefore has $1.59 in modeled base fees and $10.41 remaining. A 15% attributed Offsite Ad adds $1.80, leaving $8.61. If your order includes buyer sales tax, the processing fee also applies to that tax.

How much does it cost to sell on Etsy?
Allow for a possible one-time setup charge, listing events, and fees when orders arrive. Etsy shows any applicable setup charge during shop onboarding; it is not a single universal price. Do I pay Etsy fees if nothing sells?
Listing and renewal charges can still apply without a sale. Listings expire after four months and renewing them creates another charge. Which Offsite Ads rate applies?

Can this Etsy calculator estimate physical products or other countries?
No. The defaults are for USD digital downloads sold through a US bank account. Shipping, physical production costs and other countries’ fee rules are outside this model. A separate storefront needs its own customers
